Breed Information
The Mini Saanen is a cross-breed goat, developed by breeding the standard size Saanen and the miniature size Nigerian Dwarf. The result is called a “Mini Saanen”, a mid-sized dairy goat that produces a good amount of milk in a smaller package, ideal for homesteads.
Does typically grow to be about 125-150lbs lbs. while bucks can be over 150 lbs. We breed for calm, quiet, hardy animals that produce 6-8 lbs. (3-4 quarts) of milk per day.
Our herd is biosecurity tested regularly and is negative for CAE, CL and Johne’s. Last test date 5/11/23.
Sales Information

All goat kids are bottle raised on raw organic goat milk and soy-free organic grain.
Kids can be placed at or around 12 weeks of age unless the new owner would prefer to personally bottle feed prior to weaning.
Kids are vaccinated for CD/T and given a tattoo or ID ear tag prior to placement.
We are expecting two litters in 2025.
